Altrusa Joins Tucson Estates Memorial Day Parade

Altrusa members proudly participated in the Tucson Estates Memorial Day Parade on May 25, 2026, celebrating patriotism, service, and community spirit.

Members Elda Lopez, Margaret Watson, and Gwen Gallegos decorated their vehicle in patriotic red, white, and blue to highlight Altrusa’s long-standing motto:

“Patriotism, Efficiency, Service.”

The parade, organized annually by the VFW and coordinated by fellow Altrusan Elaine Aldrete, brought the community together to honor and remember those who gave their lives in service to our country.

From the patriotic decorations to the smiling faces along the parade route, the morning reflected the spirit of remembrance, gratitude, and community involvement that continues to guide Altrusa’s mission.
