Holiday Cheer at the Altrusa Wrapping Party
The holiday season is all about giving, and Altrusa Tucson brought that spirit to life at our annual Holiday Wrapping Party. With music, laughter, and plenty of ribbons, members came together to wrap presents for two special causes close to our hearts.
This year, we wrapped gifts for a family from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base that Altrusa has proudly adopted for the holidays. We also added festive ribbons to the hat-and-book presents prepared for the preschoolers at Tully Elementary. Each carefully wrapped gift carried not just holiday cheer but also a touch of love and care from our Altrusa members.
Of course, no holiday gathering is complete without treats and music! As we worked, we enjoyed delicious snacks and lively conversation. The highlight of the evening was a sing-along led by Bonnie, Elaine, and Cindy, who brought their ukuleles to add a musical touch to the festivities. Their holiday tunes filled the room with joy as we wrapped and sang together.
The Holiday Wrapping Party was a wonderful reminder of the power of community and the joy that comes from giving back. We’re so grateful to our members for their time, talent, and enthusiasm in making the holidays brighter for others.
