Altrusa Tucson Supports Days for Girls
Each month, Altrusa Tucson members support Days for Girls, a global initiative dedicated to improving access to menstrual hygiene products and education for women and girls worldwide. Through this project, we help create and assemble reusable hygiene kits, ensuring that more individuals have the resources to manage their health with dignity.
At our most recent workday, Altrusans gathered to cut fabric, sew, and package these essential kits, each one designed to last for years. The impact of this work extends far beyond our hands—every kit provides a sustainable solution that allows girls to stay in school, pursue opportunities, and live without stigma or barriers.
